Building the Voice of Saturn Synth and Sequencer kits into one enclosure, using a large sloped aluminum enclosure from Hammond.
My first DIY synth build. Previous soldering experience: sound-activated toy robot. LoudObjects kit. Arduino Pocket Piano. Built and assembled a 2xmonome, but didn’t do most of the soldering.
I’ve always wanted to get one of the hammond enclosures with walnut endcaps. It looks to be the perfect size for housing both the VOS and Sequencer.
I’ve done a preliminary layout while I wait for the enclosure to arrive:
Trying to figure out how to keep wiring neat, using some of my 9 spare meters of ribbon cable:

Questions for now:
-How to wire both kits to the same power supply without blowing everything up.
-How to get really nice panel graphics. Hand paint? Stencil? Silkscreen? Vinyl Sticker?
I’ve ordered knobs from mouser:
seq knobs: mouser PN 550-67003
synth knobs: 450-AA193, with an assortment of colored caps

id go with vinyl stickers for the graphics.
you should be able to hit up a local sign printing shop and they can print and cut any custom graphics you create.
.psd or .ai would be a common file type they should be able to handle.
