Control a Bioloid robot with a Playstation controller
The aim is to create a dynamixel/bioloid device that can interface to a playstation 2 controller.
The current prototype (the green pcb in the photo) works with the sabre controller (brown pcb / controller). The next steps are to soak test the ensemble and then to move onto double click detection etc.
If enough people are interested.. I’ll consider manufacturing a small quantity of the boards – but at the moment I want to get the code right!
I’ve been testing the board works by using it to drive my quadruped robot around (see first project at curiousinventor)… currently the right analog stick gives robot velocity (in both x and y directions), while the left analog stick gives the rate of turning.
